APW - Circles - Bingo
The Day Circle will meet on November 14 and have Lesson 6. Bev White is the hostess, Jean Clark will be the lesson leader and Ann Harms will have devotions.
Evening Circle will meet on November 8 at 7:30 p.m.
APW will be having a Thanksgiving potluck and inviting the men. The offering will go to Operation Christmas Child. Marty Weber will have the program.
Bingo at Maple Manor will be November 16 and Group 2 is in charge.
Thanksgiving Day Meal
There will be a Free Thanksgiving Meal from 11:30-1:00 at the church on Thursday, November 22. Please RSVP to church 347-5569 by November 16.
Feed My Starving Children Project
The FMSC mission project was well represented by the Aplington Evangelical Presbyterian Church. 9 families participated in filling the meal bags to be distributed along with $4,216.00 raised for the project. A great big "THANK YOU" to all who participated in this worthy mission.
Trick or Treat Night
The Outreach Committee will be handing out hot chocolate again during Aplington Trick-or-Treating on Wednesday, October 31st, from 5:00 until we run out of trick-or-treaters or hot chocolate! This year, we will also be handing out bags of popcorn. If anyone would like to come out and join us, you’d be welcome - help us show what a friendly bunch we are! (There will be a fire pit to stay warm by!)
