STAMP MINISTRY
The church ladies have been very busy collecting cancelled stamps from envelopes. The income from the sale of these goes to support preparation, publication and distribution of a Spanish language curriculum for Sunday Schools. More than 50 lesson series have been published and are being used in churches of 40 different denominations in Spanish speaking countries in Latin America, Spain and even the USA.
Feed My Starving Children Project
The Mission committee will be supporting Feed MY Starving Children again this year. Please plan on supporting the cause by stopping to see Caleb Meyer on Fridays outside (or inside depending on weather) the Peppercorn Pantry in Aplington. On any given Friday Caleb will be selling scotcheroos, cinnamon rolls, and/or caramel rolls. The money he receives for these delicious treats, he then donates to Feed My Starving Children. Caleb hopes to see you on Fridays!
MOVIE NIGHT!
Sunday night is the night! Come join the fun and entertainment for the movie “The Resurrection of Gavin Stone”. This is a comedy/drama movie. there will b e popcorn, soda and plenty of entertainment. And best of all - IT IS ALL FREE. See you at 6:00 p.m. at the church!
Ladies Spring Potluck
Ladies get into the spring mood! There is going to be a potluck on April 12th at 6 pm that will have the most wonderful food and a wonderful program following. There will be a personal testimony by a local church member of how her experience changed her life. Also there will be a presentation of essential oils that is fast becoming a health aid recommended for some ailments by physicians. Please join us for this program and learn some health aids that we all can use. You do not have to be a member of our church to take part. Bring a friend! Bring a family member! Just be sure to sign up on our bulletin board so we can make sure we have enough food.
