New Sunday School Study

Beginning Jan. 29th, the adult Sunday School class will watch the video series, Resolving Everyday Conflict. This eight week series explains what the Bible says about conflict and how we can deal with it. It’s Biblical, practical, and entertaining. In order to both watch the video and have discussion time, the class will start at 10:45 and last until 11:45. Bring a pen, because you will likely want to take a few notes. You’ll be most helped if you can attend all the sessions, but you can drop in anytime. If you have questions, call Sara McLane at (c)563-581-3697.

Men's Soup Supper

Men’s Soup Supper will be on January 30, 2017, (snow date February 6th). The time is 6:00 p.m. for supper. The speakers will start at 6:30 p.m. Menu includes Oyster Stew, Chili, Meat & cheese sandwiches, drink and pie.

The speakers will be Ranae and Isaiah Krull on the following topic:

“FOREVER CHANGED” How are you supposed to respond when you receive a call that your child has been in a severe accident? This is our family's journey of how God used a tragedy to drive us to our knees and seek to trust Him at His very word, even when the outcome could be devastating. It tells of the power of many people praying and just how God answered those prayers. Isaiah's life was forever changed that day in many ways. Some may say it was a tragedy, and yet he views it as a second chance at life and living that life to the fullest each day. His new fervor to serve Jesus is fresh and contagious. Our hope is that our story will encourage you as you wade through your own trials and inspire you to read God's Word and take it to heart in your daily living. It's powerful!
