Daylight Savings Time will begin on March 11th at 2 a.m. Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead one hour. We don’t want you to miss church at worship service time.
Holy Week Services
The Easter season is again upon us and the community will again have combined services for Holy Week. All services will start at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday the services will be held at the AP Middle School gym. Thursday and Friday services will be at the First Reformed Church of Aplington. Please plan to attend at least one or all services.
Ladies Spring Fling Planned
Ladies, spring is inching it's way back into our calendars, with that comes our annual woman's spring luncheon. Mark your calendar for April 5th at 6 pm. We are planning a potluck this year. The program will be about recent changes in health care and alternatives that many are defaulting to with essential oils. Essential oils can be used for a wide range of emotional and physical wellness applications. They can be used as a single oil or in complex oil blends depending on user experience and desired benefit. Join us to learn more about essential oils and wellness. You will have the opportunity to experience essential oils first hand as well as the opportunity to make your own personalized blend to take home!

Alternatives Pregnancy Center 2018 Baby Bottle Drive is going on NOW! Please pick up a baby bottle today!! Fill it with cash, coins or a check. Bring it back on Sunday, March 25th, and we'll donate all the money to Alternatives Pregnancy Center. Alternatives mission statement is "To explore Christ-centered alternatives with those who are facing an unplanned pregnancy”. Please join this worthy mission!

Community Choir
Once again, a Community Choir will be singing at the Thursday night Holy Week service on March 29th. Practices will start Wednesday, February 28th, at 7:45 pm at the Aplington Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Please call or text director, Thom Mahler, at 515-371-9828 if you plan to join the choir. Let's have many voices praising the Lord at this Holy time!

Christian Comedian
"Lighten Up and Live" is a signature quote by Ken Davis: Ken Davis (christian comedian) will be performing at the Cedar Falls Riverview Bible Conference Center on May 13th, 2018 at 6 p.m. Tickets are available now. If 10 or more in a group are interested in attending, tickets will be $15 per person. Tickets ordered individually for general admission are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Reserved seating is $25. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board if interested.
